UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS
In the state of Maryland, and around the United States, there are heightened concerns about the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and the uncertainties around this novel disease. We, at Cange Podiatry, have resolved to continue rendering podiatric services to unaffected patients while maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and disinfection throughout the office to continually keep our patients and staff safe at all times. Additional precautions have been instituted to ensure a high state of sterility including disinfecting chairs, pens, clipboards and doorknobs several times a day. Where necessary, we may request patients to wait in their cars/outside until the time of their appointment in order to fulfil the social distancing rule of six feet.
We advise that patients adhere to the following in the best interest of all concerned
• Patients that have been exposed to individuals who have or are being tested for the Coronavirus should cancel or reschedule their appointments.
• Patients exhibiting any signs of fever, significant cough, shortness of breath and/or flu-like symptoms such as body aches, headaches, weakness, or fatigue should cancel or reschedule appointments.
• Patients above the age of 70 years old should consider postponing non-emergency visits.
• Do not bring extra people with you for an appointment.
• All minors, as has been the case, must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian for their appointments. Minors not scheduled for an appointment should not be brought to the office.
• Patients requiring caregivers or relatives to assist them are welcome to come with them. However, they must not exhibit any flu-like symptoms, have had interaction with sick persons nor recently traveled to the identified high risk areas.
• Patients are encouraged to make bill payments via credit card to limit exposure.
• Adhere to the “social distancing” rule of six feet from another person to slow the spread of the virus
• Make use of the available sanitizer before and after your office visit where you are unable to wash your hands.
